Day 22 of Underwater Photo Challenge

Luckily I have encountered several Hawksfish species during my diving holiday. They are normally active but often hiding behind gorgonians or soft corals when hunting their prey.

The prettiest hawkish I have seen was the Giant Hawkfish in Galapagos. The hawkfish that can be seen in the Eastern Pacific from California to Colombia.
