El Che
His legacy brings various aspects of controversy. His revolutionary battles, his ruthless, and yet, his sincere idealism to fight injustice and promote freedom for all. He is admired and condemned, his legacy remains until present day not mere as faded painting on forgotten wall.
El Che in the Fray.
Photo was taken in Havana, Cuba.
Viva Che!
para siempre 😉
Idealism is always ruthless: one has to mature and embrace reality to learn compassion. I think that Che is loved as a symbol of rebellious youth. Who doesn’t remember their youth with fondness ? 🙂
That’s true, some of my friends were fans of Che during our study years and they were kinda rebellious actually..but more in positive way 😉 I remember they were among those who led the student movement against the dictatorship of Suharto..
That’s the spirit! I was a rebel myself, and I agree that young people are the ones who can truly make a difference. I love young people and believe in them 🙂
Great photo!
Thank you so much!!
The photo is remarkable. It captures the faded idealism of a fallen revolutionary. I’m not a fan of violent means to an end, but I do recognize him as a historical figure. Thank you for sharing this with us!
Thank you Rob! I agree that there was dark side of Che and that made him as a figure with lots of contradiction..
Such a strong figure…great capture of this graffiti…
Thank you so much Sharon!
Great capture
Thank you so much Jackson!
Great shot of an evil man…youth has nothing to do with it.
He has dark side with cruelty behind it..I wonder if the harsh reality that he faced and witnessed have changed him or he was already a violent person at the beginning..
Hasta siempre, comandante
Hasta la vista.. 🙂
