Wildlife Wednesday: Amazonian Frog
During our stay in Ecuadorian Amazon rainforest, Yasuni National Park, we took an evening guide tour to find Amazonian frogs. Unfortunately, we were unable to spot the famous Ecuadorian poison frogs. They hid pretty well that evening. Although, we could hear the loud sounds (croack) of the frogs. Our guide told us there would rain tomorrow morning. He was right.
I managed to capture a few pictures of the frogs that we saw during the evening. I believe they were Amazon glass frogs. There are many species of the Amazon glass frogs and some of them are endangered species.
