Love this place! It is great to see this wonderful photo from up there. We never made it to the viewpoint but we rafted on the Colorado right there. The view from beneath is pretty awesome too 🙂

I didn’t go there, but the grand canyon, painted desert and mesa verde were all beautiful.
The region has impressive landscape! I do miss beautiful nature in the US..

On my list of places to go but now I think they have it blocked to where you can’t get a shot like this anymore 😦
I had no idea that they block the viewpoint in the area. But I can understand why they had to do so, since the fatalities could occured. Some people are ignoring the safety for the sake of pictures.
And it was getting too too crowded which also effects the area. I just read they are closing some of the national parks now 😦
