Reflection on Lake Calhoun

As the largest lake in Minneapolis, Lake Calhoun is famous for many outdoor activities. My last visit to the lake was for walking around its 5.5 km (3.4 miles) trail. Dante, my dog, joined the walk. The weather was beautiful; bright blue sky with stunning clouds. The lake’s calm water became the mirror that was reflecting the clouds and the bright blue sky. I did not bring my camera to capture these, at last, my mobile phone did the job.
Dante kept insisting on swimming at the lake. He was persistent. Do you see his tail in one of these pictures? I failed to keep him dry!
Have a great weekend!

nice shot. interesting looking clouds there.
I grew up living on Lake Calhoun by Thomas beach, worded as a Lifeguard there for the city, name change was a dumb Idea, everyone still calls it Calhoun but I suppose it made someone feel better, city used to tell those of us who lived around the lake to limit fertilizer use, and to stop before the end of May so as not to have wash down into the lake during the swimming season, not so much now I guess. I constantly see the beaches closed due to Ecoli, Dad and Mom moved to Montana and left me the house, I sold it several years ago for 1.4 million, and moved to Myrtle Beach but I still look in on Calhoun every now and again, you took Great pictures , Calhoun is awesome in the Winter as well!!
