The apartment’s wall presents an image of old days of Katendrecht, one of historical districts in Rotterdam (the Netherlands). It has no windows but it does have red mailboxes and doorbells. I pass this old apartment almost in daily basis. It’s just another regular sight, something ordinary, however in this image I find its state as an (extra)ordinary wall.  Maybe the composition of the old days gray scale image with the red boxes. It does make me wonder how Katendrecht was in the past..
