Hi there!

Blennioidei in Bangka Island, North Sulawesi, Indonesia

I took this image during a scuba diving in Indonesia. We were at safety stop before returning to the land. I saw this little Blenny fish (Blennioidei) was peeking up and down from his hiding hole until I got the right timing to click and his face looked surprised at my lens. It was one of rewarding safety stop moments. This image reminded me of a little fish being cute playing hide and seek in beautiful corals.

Is this image monochromatic enough for the Daily Post’s photo challenge? I do hope so, and I hope it will bring a smile to your face…

  1. Great shot, friend!! My son, Carlo, is a dive instructor in one of the lesser known island-dive spots in Cebu (Malapascua island, to be exact). Aside from the corals, the island is known for its thresher sharks, and occasional manta rays as well. Am sure you two would get along fine with those underwater shots.
