Dockwise Vanguard is in Rotterdam!

The largest heavy-lift ship in the world, Dockwise Vanguard, is visiting Rotterdam (the Netherlands) and staying in Wilhelminakade (Rotterdam), until tonight. It is owned by Dockwise Ltd., a Dutch marine transport company that based in Bermuda with headquarter office in Breda (the Netherlands). The view of the ship is awesome to see at night…

The Dockwise Vanguard is 275 meters and 70 meters wide. The ship has a capacity of 117,000 tons and designed to move offshore oil and gas facilities, but can also carry other ships and act as an offshore dry dock facility. The vessel is registered in the port in Willemstad, the capital city of Curaco (Dutch constituent country in the Caribbean). To see his pictures in action as you may find here in this link.

The vessel photos captured during the day..

And Dante doggie will make sure the ship safety during his stay in Rotterdam 😉
