A Journey Through Indonesia by Embara Films

On this post, please let me introduce my country, Indonesia, via a video made by EMBARA Film. Indonesia is still struggling for its democracy and its people welfare. Having been traveling from its island to another, I realize how difficult it must be for our founding fathers in 1945 to unify 18,307 islands with multi-etnic groups and multi-religions as one nation. It is just recently as well that I have empathy to our central government for its struggle to combat corruption that deep rooted locally, injustice in legal system due to lack of enforcement (and communication), and inequality in development from island to island.

It is a country in its journey to be better. A country with amazingly beautiful ocean and landscape that I hope our leaders and Indonesians themselves will maintain its nature beauty during the process of developing the country..

  1. OK, I am very moved…Indonesia here I come πŸ™‚
So many places to choose from, incredible piece of work ~ and I loved the opening scenes.

  2. I just saw the video. Your country is really beautiful. Someday I would really like to visit Indonesia. I wish they could maintain its beauty forever.

    • Thank you for bringing me to attention on this! I just update the link. It appears the previous video – the long version (7 mins) turned into private view because the Embara will publish the movie soon. I just replace the link with their video trailer – it is shorter though, less than 1 minute…

  3. Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this website.
It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s tough to get
that “perfect balance” between usability and visual appeal.
I must say you’ve done a very good job with this.
Also, the blog loads super fast for me on Safari.

    Exceptional Blog!
