Cancun Beach Pictures
Cancún has one of finest beaches I have ever seen. It is a picturesque beach that you feel like spending your whole day being lazy on the beach. My images here do not do justice; the beach was even more beautiful in reality. And clean!
The word Cancún in Mayan means the snake pit. (source)

Located in the Cancún hotel zone, the beach strip takes 22 km (14 miles) surrounded by hotels.

Cancún generates over 1/3 of Mexico’s tourism revenue. (source)

The water is pretty much crystal clear for swimming.

You don’t have to stay in beachfront All-Inclusive Resorts or Hotels to enjoy Cancún Beach.
I did not stay at beachfront resorts when visiting Cancún. The beaches are for public and you can always rent seats or tents at the beach clubs if you wish.

these are gorgous photos! I haven’t been to Cancun since the bad hurricane a couple decades ago, but it is all rebuilt and modernized, I see. The beaches are nicely maintained, around the hotel complexes. 🙂
Indeed! They managed to keep the beach well maintained and clean too
although private owners are not allowed to own land (just the government) the hotels and resorts along the strip do maintain their beaches though. Cancun is strictly a tourist place, but there are wonderful archeological sites within an hour’s drive all along the peninsula.
That gorgeous azure water must have many living treasures down below. Beautiful photos Indah.
Thank you so much Jet! It was a perfect place to cool down from the heat 🙂
A place I’ve been debating about going. Your photos make me want to go even more 🙂
I am sure you will enjoy it! I have to admit the zona hotel is bit too much with tourism thingies but it is still a nice place for vacation.
Extra special beautiful place and fantastic photos, Indah! Have a good rest of summer. Bye. Kamila
Thank you so much Kamila! I hope you are too 🙂
I’ve always heard good things about the beaches. Did you go snorkeling or diving?
A nice beach to swim! I did diving in Cancun. I have to say their beach is better than their underwater…I will post about it soon!
Thanks Indah.
Gorgeous! I hope you’re having a lovely summer 🙂
Thank you so much! I hope you are too 🙂
Don’t think I want to know why it’s called the snake pit…. despite that, Cancun is a beautiful place.
I hope it was in the past!! Thank you souch!
Absolutely stunning images Indah…
Ideal place to sit and relax… but, I really doubt, whether I will do that… 🙂
With such incredible views, I would just like to try my hands at photography…
Sorry to miss your wonderful blog for long and I need to do some catching up 🙂
Have a beautiful day ahead 🙂
Hi Sreejith, thank you!! It’s been a while! I hope all is well with you 🙂
I am doing good, Indah 🙂
Took a small hibernation in between 🙂
