Amazing Ceilings of the Vatican Museums
Vatican museums’ ceilings art is known worldwide. Some paintings and crafts on the museum’s ceiling were designed in the 15th century. When I visited the museum with my mother, I kept looking up to the ceiling because every room had its arts and history. Followings are images of amazing ceilings inside the Vatican Museums…
The Rotunda Room
The Tapestries Hall
The Maps Hall
The Papal Apartments
The Sistine Chapel
The Spiral Staircase
All images are taken by myself during the visit using a fish-eye lens.

Thank you for sharing these fine photos, Indah. I guess looking up at those ceilings give us a little taste of what Michelangelo had to endure to paint those masterpieces.
It’s my pleasure! Yes, certainly! It was certainly not an easy task to paint the ceiling and high walls!
Stunning images Indah. Some things are woth a bit of neck strain. 🙂
Thank you, Sue! Indeed 🙂 All strain – including our legs after walking in this huge place – was worth to suffer 😀
