Our experience staying at Aloft Hotels in San José (Costa Rica) and Cancún‎ (Mexico) this year was a pleasant one. Aloft hotels have a kitchen and restaurant that serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In San Jose, Aloft Hotel offers a great variety of breakfast compared to Aloft Hotel in Cancún. I haven’t tried dining at Aloft Hotels’ restaurants, thus I can’t say much about their food quality.

Information for Indonesian travelers who wish to visit Costa Rica as tourists:

• Tourist visa should be obtained prior arrival. However, for Indonesian passport holders with multiple entries of a tourist visa, a visa for crew or a business visa for the U.S. or Canada are allowed to entry without visa prior arrival. Note: Such visa must be stamped in the passport and be valid for at least 1 day (The length of stay may not be greater than the validity of the visa and may not exceed 30 days).
• Do check with the Costa Rican Consulate/Embassy at your home country for the further update of the tourism and travel safety.
